          Blue Ribbon Dog Academy was founded in 2018 with a simple mission: to provide exceptional care, training, and enrichment while treating every dog like family. Under the leadership of owner Dolores Paroda, a CPDT-KA Professional Dog Trainer with over 20 years of experience, BRDA has grown into a trusted destination for daycare, lodging, and training. Dolores is not only an established trainer but also a mentor who is passionate about helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships.

          Helping lead our team is General Manager Mykayla Holmes, who has been a part of the Blue Ribbon family since 2019. With over 14 years of experience in dog care, daycare, lodging services, and training, Mykayla is an ABCDT certified dog trainer whose dedication to both the dogs in our care and the continued growth of Blue Ribbon helps make BRDA the special place it is today. 

          Our leadership team is strengthened by Assistant Manager Shyann Minerd and Lodging Manager Cortney Novak, both of whom have over 4 years of experience. Shyann's positive attitude and commitment to our clients make her an essential part of our daily operations. Shyann helps keep BRDA running smoothly while creating lasting relationships with the families we serve. Cortney plays a vital role in our pet care and client experience. Cortney has built strong relationships with each family and pet and her commitment makes her an invaluable part of Blue Ribbon. 

          What truly sets Blue Ribbon apart is our incredible team. Many of our staff members have been with us for more than 2 years, creating a consistent, knowledgeable, and caring environment for every pet who walks through our doors.
